Why do I need a professional photographer?
As a professional, it is my job to capture as much of your day as possible. All the details that have taken time and money to prepare, as well as the day unfolding. It is also my job to make sure that your images are of the highest quality possible and you get the images you want, however you want them. It is also my job to make sure that you have images to be proud of, and that everyone gets the reprints they want. By all means have your guests to take photos, but don’t be tempted to let them replace a professional who like myself has twenty years experience, has a reputation and a living to make.
Why are wedding photographers so expensive?
I don’t think the majority of wedding photography is expensive when you compare it to your dress, venue etc. Don’t forget, my work is more than turning up on the day and it is the only thing you will have forever. I allow the following week working only on your images.
There are three reasons I offer great value for money. Firstly, I do not have a studio/shop so my overheads minimal. Secondly, I work alone so have no staff wages to pay for, and thirdly, I am not VAT registered so the cost to you is less. This means that I can be very competitive without compromising on quality.
I can’t find your packages?
That’s because I prefer to create a wedding package that is just for you. You get to choose what you want when it comes to every other aspect of your wedding and it is the same with your photography. That way, you know you are only paying for the things you want.
When should I book?
Book as soon as you have a date as I am taking bookings for 18 months from now. I only take on one wedding each week to ensure you are not left waiting for months to see your final images. When your deposit is paid, your date is secured.
What can we do if we have a small budget?
No problem, you can have a set of prints to put in your own album. You can always upgrade after the wedding if you want to. I offer vouchers that guest can buy as wedding gifts towards your photos. These are great if you are already have enough tea towels and toasters!
